Launched in the 1960s, Parisian restaurant guide Gault&Millau is best known for its extensive dining reviews that include expert insight into the best of the best when it comes to where to eat around the world.
Introduced by journalists Henri Gault and Christian Millau, the guide consists of an in-depth ranking of luxurious dining locations on a scale from 1 to 20. Subject to the score, the restaurant can receive between one to five toques.
Gault&Millau UAE hosts an annual private gala to celebrate and announce awards to the country’s leading chefs, sommeliers, restaurant managers, and restaurateurs. This year the event took place last evening at the luxury seven-star hotel, Burj Al Arab Jumeirah.
