Tagomago: Beachside Dining With A Spanish Twist | #ChicEats

Palm Jumeirah’s newest beach club and restaurant will be your go-to destination for weekends well spent with the little ones by the shore

The air feels different near Tagomago; the salty sea breeze mixed with the sweet spirit of the Balearics gently billows over bathers, fusing together coconut-scented sunscreen with notes of acai and sangria. The sun takes her time in the sky, beaming down on the children playing by the shore, watching them wave to the yachts passing whilst building sandcastles with their bare hands.

Here, a different sort of stillness takes refuge amidst the hustle and bustle of one of the world’s most popular holiday destinations; a Local’s Only spot that is on the verge of becoming one of the most popular beach clubs and eateries in Dubai – one where families are welcome with a smile.

Located at the base of the Palm Jumeirah near Azure Residence, Tagomago is the newest addition to the Rikas Group family, the powerhouse behind award-winning restaurants like La Cantine Du Faubourg and Mimi Kakushi. Surrounded by greenery and boasting views of the Burj al Arab and Atlantis The Royal, its relaxed yet upbeat energy makes it an ideal spot for Sunday sun downers or an impromptu Spanish supper.

Come for a lazy Sunday and relax on the beach (breakfast can be brought right to your sunbed and is served all day), before making your way to the chiringuito for drink or two prior to your golden hour dinner reservation.

The menu offers tapas-style sharing dishes – boasting an impressive selection of hot and cold options – along with fresh seafood and three different types of sangria. While no visit to Tagomago is complete without sampling the Marisco Paella, the Spanish-style Tortilla (which can be served with black truffle or oscietra caviar) is a must-try, along with the Bluefin Tuna Carpaccio and Lamb Chops with Honey Aioli.
