#ChicEats | Why Zeta Seventy Seven Is One Of The Best Places To Eat In Dubai
Bird’s-eye views across Dubai’s famous beaches don’t come better than this says Editor, Nina Catt
Michelin star restaurants. Extravagant resorts. Golden beaches for miles. It’s no wonder Dubai is a tourist magnet, luring sun-seekers with its Instagram-worthy moments at every imaginable opportunity.
Home to many of the world’s tallest structures, Dubai’s reputation for bigger is better grows at a rapid rate, and justly so, with its constant boundary pushing and breaking of records.

On the 77th floor of Address Beach Resort is where you will find Zeta Seventy Seven, an adults-only al fresco oasis in the sky. Nestled on a large terrace with phenomenal views over the Palm Jumeirah, Bluewaters Island, and Jumeirah Beach Residences, the open-air restaurant truly needs to be seen to be believed.

Set beside the world’s tallest outdoor infinity pool (at 293.9 metres high – acquiring the Guinness World Record title from Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands) once you step foot onto the sun-drenched terrace, you won’t ever want to leave.

Decked out in a chic white and turquoise colour palette, mirroring its natural surroundings, Zeta Seventy Seven’s culinary philosophy focuses on local, organic and sustainable ingredients. Delivering an Asian-inspired journey through its modern menu, with a delectable cocktail list to match, dine overlooking the edge, or at one of the sunken swimming pool tables.

If you can take your eyes off the spectacular view, a variety of sushi, sashimi and colourful curries await. Plant-based highlights include the seared tofu poke bowl, iced tomato salad and mushroom soba noodles.

While I couldn’t possibly partake in desert thanks to a double serving of tempura vegetable sushi, my fellow diner indulged in the Japanese strawberry ice cream with dehydrated coconut crisp, boldly declaring it as “heavenly”.

A visit here should unquestionably be coupled with a day spent at the infinity pool. Non-hotel guests can gain entry by hiring a private air-conditioned cabana equipped with lounge area, shower room and sunbeds. There are also spa cabanas for couples’ treatments to really take the sky-high experience to new levels. A massage is a must.

No doubt designed to attract Dubai’s cool crowd, at Zeta Seventy Seven it’s all about kicking back and admiring the city of gold that lies beneath you. One breathtaking moment at a time.
