4 Turkish Series For The Hopeless Romantics At Heart
Love truly does conquer all – at least in the world of these dramatic shows
With Turkish television shows taking the world by storm, more people than ever before are tuning into these epic series, spending up to 150 minutes of their day watching their favourite characters navigate the dramatic plotlines.
Here, Bazaar shares four of our favourite series that focus solely on the trials and tribulations of young lovers. For the hopeless romantics at heart, here are a few of the most binge-worthy romantic Turkish series you need to watch.

Kara Sevda
The plot of Kara Sevda (Endless Love) follows two characters from very different social classes. While the main characters Kemal (played by Burak Özçivit) and Nihan (played by Neslihan Atagül) fall in love, the story — which spans an epic 74 episodes — takes viewers on a journey of experiencing what ‘first love’ truly means to young romantics, with a healthy dash of mystery, passion, and drama mixed in.
Aşk Laftan Anlamaz
Hayat, played by Hande Erçel, lies about her true identity in order to get a job at Murat’s office (played by Burak Deniz). While the plot of Aşk Laftan Anlamaz (Love Doesn’t Have Words) revolves around their workplace romance with the different twist and turns, its the cast of the show that truly has us tuning in; in fact, the series was so popular that fans demanded a second season.
Dolunay
Dolunay (Full Moon) tells a story about family and blood relations through the main characters Ferit (played by Can Yaman) and Nazli (played by Özge Gürel). While Ferit and Nazli’s relationship begin on a bittersweet note, the pair are forced to take drastic measures in order to try to regain custody of Ferhit’s nephew.
Adını Feriha Koydum
The story of Adını Feriha Koydum (The Girl Named Feriha) is about Feriha (played by Hazal Kaya), an ambitious and beautiful girl born into a poor family. When Feriha receives a full scholarship to a private university, she decides to reinvent herself as a wealthy young lady, leading her to meet an attractive and exceptionally wealthy boy, Emir, played by Çağatay Ulusoy. Falling in love together, the story depicts the difficulties that lovers face coming from different backgrounds while in a relationship.
