The Bazaar Arabia Team Share Their Favourite Christmas Movies
Holiday movies are the core of this festive season, from comedy to romance and thriller, here is Bazaar Arabia team’s favourite Christmas movies
Gremlins
“I’m a 1980s movie obsessive, and Gremlins fills me with the warmth of nostalgia (as well as the warmth of Christmas) and reminds me of sitting cross-legged on the carpeted floor of my parents’ equally ’80s lounge, under the rainbow lights of the Christmas tree, and wishing for my very own Gizmo to feed after midnight. That little guy was adorable – if a little mischievous.”
Olivia Phillips, Editor in Chief

Elf
“Who can resist Buddy, the Christmas-loving human raised as an Elf? Will Ferrell is utterly believable, the laughs are both obvious and subtle – and in the end, it spreads a message of love and good cheer that only a grinch wouldn’t fall for.”
Natasha Faruque, Group Managing Editor

White Christmas
“I’m (always) dreaming of a white Christmas. A ’50s classic that is far too easily forgotten, this is a sweet mix of Christmas, romance, and comedy with music by Irving Berlin sung by Bing Crosby, so what’s not to love? The costumes are sublime, there’s plenty of sparkle, and of course, it snows on Christmas Eve.”
Charlie Boyd, Jewellery and Watches editor

The Holiday
“The Holiday is the ultimate festive pick-me-up — two cosy love stories, two charming cities, and a gentle nudge to love yourself first. But if I’m being honest, Jude Law is reason enough to hit play on the season’s best rom-com.”
Riya Bubukwar, Social Content Manager

Love Actually
“I constantly get told I live my life like I’m in a movie. This is the movie I’m aiming for.”
Charlotte Marsh-Williams, Junior Fashion & Market Editor
