Bling Empire New York: Will There Be A Second Season?
We’re patiently waiting for more drama from New York City’s most glamorous Asian Americans
Bling Empire New York: Will there be a second season? Bazaar Arabia shares everything we know about whether or not the cast will be returning for another chapter of the spinoff series.
Netflix has been smashing it in the reality television department lately. From Selling Sunset to Too Hot to Handle, the streaming platform certainly understands the chokehold guilty pleasure television has over us all.
One of the most popular semi-scripted series has become Bling Empire: New York, which dropped earlier this year. A spin-off show of LA-based Bling Empire, the series follows affluent Asian Americans and their lavish lifestyles. For the show’s second chapter crews flew out to the Big Apple to cover a whole new group of jet-setting and drama-fuelled personalities.
From Thailand to Mainland China, the cast members are a diverse bunch, but all have one thing in common: they’re all “privileged” in some capacity, although the show is quick to highlight early on in the first season that some cast members work incredibly hard to maintain their lifestyles.
The second season stars reality television personality Dorothy Wang; Canadian actor and Editor-at-Large Blake Abbie; fashion influencer Tina Leung; heiress Nam Laks; jewellery designer Lynn Ban; Chief Grown Officer at Hudson Medical + Wellness, Richard Chang; the eclectic financier Stephen Hung and his wife, Mexican model Deborah Valdez-Hung.

The show is good fun, taking viewers on a tour of New York City and beyond — who couldn’t forget the episode when Tina Leung missed the Chanel show at Paris Fashion Week? — and with eight episodes it’s easy to binge-watch the entire season in a weekend… leaving fans wondering whether or not we’ll be seeing more of the Bling Empire New York crew.
So… Will there be a second season of Bling Empire New York?
At the moment, Netflix has yet to confirm whether the show will make a return for a second season; however, Cosmopolitan does point out that there were three seasons of the original Bling Empire, so it’s looking likely we can expect to see the cast (and, perhaps, new faces too) again.
Check back soon for more detail on this developing story.
