Celebrated comedian, Dave Chappelle, is heading to Abu Dhabi.
The award-winning stand-up comedian and actor will performing at Abu Dhabi Comedy Week on May 23, it was announced on Friday.
Taking place from May 18 – May 26 at Yas Island’s Etihad Arena, Dave Chappelle will be taking the stage alongside a stellar line-up of comedic talent including Aziz Ansari, Chris Tucker, and Bassem Youssef.
The comedian first performed in the UAE with two sold-out shows in Dubai in 2018.
Known for his satirical comedy sketches, impressive wit, and thought-provoking humour in which he tackles prominent societal issues, Dave has numerous accolades to his name, including five Grammy awards, five Primetime Emmy awards, and a Screen Actor’s Guild award.
In recent years, the comedian has been expanding his international presence through the likes of his popular Netflix specials. His most recent showcase on the streaming platform, Dave Chappelle: The Dreamer, released in December 2023.

Tickets for Dave Chappelle’s showcase at Abu Dhabi Comedy Week go on sale on April 23 from 10:00am GST. Fans can purchase their tickets from ticket vendor Live Nation’s website.
