Dune 2 is officially here. After breaking box-office records in 2021, the adaptation of Frank Herbert’s bestselling novel returns for an exciting sequel starring Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Zendaya, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux, and other performers.
What is Dune 2 about?
According to a teaser that was released yesterday, Dune: Part Two will take off right where the first film ended — with the protagonist Paul Atreides venturing on an unknown journey that holds adventures and dangers alike.
The character unites with Chani, played by Zendaya, to seek revenge against his adversaries who destroyed House Atreides led by Duke Leto. As showcased during the first film, Paul possesses mystical powers that allow him to foresee the future which only adds to the exhilarating saga.
Fans are gearing up for this long-awaited sequel featuring Elvis’ Austin Butler who underwent an unrecognizable transformation for his role as the antagonist Feyd-Rautha of House Harkonnen.
When will Dune 2 release?
Dune: Part Two wrapped filming late last year and will release on November 3, 2023.
