El Gouna Film Festival 2024: Confirmed Dates, Tickets and Everything Else You Need To Know
The celebrated film festival of the region makes it return for its 7th edition this October
El Gouna Film Festival announced that the 7th edition of the festival will take place from 24 October to 1 November, 2024.
Established in 2017, the festival remains devoted to its goal of discovering and empowering filmmaking talents from the MENA region and connecting their art with film lovers internationally. Offering a pool prize of more than $224,000 for its winners in the three competition sections, the festival provides flimmakers with artistic and financial support.
The festival will provide its attendees a breath of fresh air as it will take place in the Egyptian coastal town of El Gouna. With preparations underway, the latest edition of the festival is set to include panel discussions, film masterclasses, and a showing of engrossing films, hand-picked by the jury, which aligns with the festival’s commitment to commemorate the essence of good storytelling along with other filming events.
Last year’s festival saw celebrities like Egyptian icon and Harper’s Bazaar Arabia’s former cover star Youssra, Moon Knight actor Saba Mubarak, award-winning actor Jamila Awad, filmmaker Zeina Makki and many more as a part of the star-studded attendees list.
