Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, better known as Sting, is set to perform his latest solo studio album, My Songs’at the Etihad Arena. The set list consists of iconic songs such as “Roxanne”, “Fields of Gold”, “Desert Rose”, “Shape of My Heart: and many more. Even more excitedly, this renowned British musician will not be performing alone – the special guest is both fellow musician and son, Joe Sumner.
Sting was born and raised in the quaint town of Wallsend in North Tyneside, England. Within his music career, Sting has amassed some of the most respected awards such as 17 Grammy Awards to three Brit Awards and notably a CBE (Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) which he received from the late Queen Elizabeth II.
