On February 13 GMT, the famous Super Bowl will occur in Glendale, Arizona, at the State Farm Stadium. The sports event has served as the final game of every National Football League (NFL) season since 1966, and this year, the Philadelphia Eagles will play against the Kansas City Chiefs.

While there is a fair share of fans anticipating the display of athletic skill, it is sure to say that many tickets will be sold because of the famous halftime show. Popular artists like Shakira, Justin Timberlake, and Lady Gaga performed at past games; the 10-15 minute long event is, for many, the highlight of the whole evening. 

And this year is no different; singer and nine-time Grammy award winner Rihanna will take center stage, marking her first performance in five years. The artist’s last live show was in 2018 alongside DJ Khaled at the Grammys.

Before the famous singer and Fenty founder enthralls viewers with her show, country star Chris Stapleton will take the microphone to sing The Star-Spangled Banner.

Apple Music has released a trailer for Rihanna’s performance at the Super Bowl named “Run This Town” where the Barbadian sings in the background of an adorable video starring a little girl which seems to represent a younger version of Rihanna herself.

The Super Bowl will start at 6:30 pm ET, 3:30 am GMT and can be watched via on Fox TV or streamed via fuboTV.
