From the Netflix release date to how to watch the trailer, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming season

Is there a Stranger Things 4? The answer is yes! Here, we share everything we know about the upcoming season due to premiere next month on Netflix.

From the Real Housewives of Dubai to Selling Sunset summer is looking red hot on the entertainment front, especially so as one of Netflix’s first original series is back in action: Stranger Things is coming back for a fourth season.

So… Is there a Stranger Things 4? Yes!

The fourth season of the series will premiere on Netflix around the world on May 27. Fans of the show within the GCC can watch it via the streaming platform when it drops at 11:00AM GMT+4.

The award-winning show, which stars Millie Bobbie Brown, Winona Ryder and Finn Wolfhard will be coming back this spring and, naturally, fans can hardly wait.

In a recent trailer breakdown on IGN’s YouTube channel, creators The Duffer Brothers shared insight into what we can expect to see within Stranger Things 4.

“The groups are split up. So they’re not together anymore and that’s the thing that causes the biggest effect this year, it’s that they’re not all together,” the brothers reveal, noting how it affects the characters’ abilities to solve the issues they come across throughout the new season. “It causes a lot of emotional conflict and difficulty…”

The brothers call the new season a “Game of Thrones” season, as one group of characters, will be based in California and another in Hawkins, the fictional town where the show is based, with police chief Jim Hopper in Russia.

A “big new baddie” will also be making its debut – possibly one of the most anticipated aspects of Stranger Things 4.

“We’ve always wanted to do our version of a Freddy Krueger, Pinhead or Pennywise, because those were the monsters, the villains, the supernatural villains that terrified us the most when growing up,” the brothers tell IGN. “It felt like it was something we wanted to do since Season two.”
