Since the finale of You Knock on My Door fans have been eagerly waiting for Kerem Bürsin’s return to the silver screen. While the actor has kept a relatively low profile throughout the past few years since the hit television series finale, focusing mostly on sponsorships and his work with UN Women with their HeForShe campaign, he has a new project in the pipeline that will soon premiere.
Kerem Bürsin is producing (in partnership with Al-Qamar Company and in cooperation with BraveBorn Films), writing, and starring in a new action thriller — a welcome change of pace for the actor who is best known for his work in Turkish dramas and romantic comedies.

While details about Bi’Tuhaf Hikaye — An Unusual Story in English — are sparse it appears Kerem will step into the lead role of Mali. His co-star includes nine-year-old Turkish child actor Ebrar Alya Demirbilek, who will play the role of Hazar, according to IMDB.
There are no details about the plotline or any other actors who will be taking part in the project.
Kerem Bürsin shared a teaser with fans on his personal Instagram account a few months ago.
Who is Ebrar Alya Demirbilek?
With over 1.3 millions followers on Instagram, the young actor is just nine-years-old. Ebrar was born on 30 September 2013 in Istanbul and has starred in notable Turkish films like Hercai, Meleklerin Aski and Zevcat.
