It appears that excitement about Love Island’s return for its ninth season has very quickly died down, with devoted fans of the British dating game show admitting that the latest season just isn’t quite doing it for them.
The show first aired on June 25, 2015, and consists of a group of 10 singles (men and women) who participate in a series of tasks with a partner that they continue to swap until ultimately meeting their ‘soulmate’ or rather the £50,000 (approximately 219,679) cash prize.
As previously mentioned, it’s been a turbulent few episodes (42 of them to be exact), all packed with the usual Casa Amor drama and in the most recent episode Claudia who was left sobbing after Casey was recoupled with Rosie.
