So far, Love Island’s return for its ninth season has been a wild ride consisting of breakdowns, controversial exits and of course, constant bickering between potential couples.
The infamous British dating game show started its latest season on January 16, 2023, and features the usual 10 singles also known as ‘islanders’ as they couple up to avoid being dumped from the villa.
The latest drama in Casa Amor all starts with actress Olivia Hawkins and PE teacher Kai Fagan who were both getting to know each other until the potential relationship went sour and the duo swapped. However, the pair haven’t stopped quarrelling since.
So… Why Did Kai Fagan Walk Out On Olivia Hawkins?
According to the Metro, in episode 37 Olivia pulled aside Kai for a chat away from the group saying, “I was quite shocked you didn’t pick me,” to which Kai then replied, “I just want to squash the beef, that’s it,”
Olivia then said “For me it confirms that maybe you are quite fake and for me I’d much rather you’d have just said, “Olivia and these are the reasons why I don’t think she’s genuine”,” to which Kai did not take well saying “I’m trying not to bite because I don’t want confrontation,” before leaving to join his group.
