Honouring the best of Arab talent from the region – and beyond – the esteemed awards ceremony will be taking place over two days at the end of November
The Distinctive International Arab Festival Awards (DIAFA) is set to host their highly anticipated 8th edition on November 26 and 27, 2024, at the Plaza Terrace of Jumeirah Emirates Towers.
The star-studded event celebrating the best creativity and talent across various fields, with prestigious names from around the MENA region and beyond gracing the esteemed ceremony.
The upcoming edition promises a blend of cinematic excellence, art and sartorial elegance over the two day festival.
This year’s eagerly anticipated event will begin on November 26, 2024, with an opening ceremony at 18:00 pm GST featuring creative pioneers sharing their experiences and achievements in a captivating panel discussion. Afterwards, on November 27, 2024, the exciting and luxe red carpet ceremony will take place at 18:00 pm GST, followed by the awards ceremony at 20:00 pm GST.
Last year some of the biggest stars from the region descended upon Dubai to attend the prestigious event, including Egyptian screen star Mona Zaki; Iraqi star actress Huda Hussain; Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred and other notable names. An exciting line-up of global celebrities is expected to light up the event.
Each year’s edition is dedicated to a renowned Arab creative, and DIAFA 2024 will honour esteemed Syrian writer Nizar Qabbani, also known as ‘Syria’s national poet’. His poems received global acclaim for their lyrical beauty and artistic exploration of love, loss, and exile, and his legacy continues to live on in the Arab world, with the literary icon’s success being remembered at the ceremony.
