Midnights: Taylor Swift Announces New Album Releasing This Year
The singer-songwriter’s 10th studio record will be dropping on October 21
Taylor Swift is asking her fans to ‘meet her at midnight’ as she gears up to release brand new music in October this year. The album, the songstress’s 10th, is titled Midnights and will be officially out on October 21.
The 32-year-old musician took to the VMA’s 2022 stage to share the exciting news with the world as she accepted the award for ‘Video Of The Year’ for her track ‘All Too Well (10 Minute Version). She thanked her fans for their support in the re-recording process of her previous albums and said that she would reveal more details about Midnights at midnight.

In posts shared on her Instagram and Twitter pages, she announced the name of the album with edgy cover art, in which she is seen sporting glittery eye makeup, and the number of tracks on the record, along with a poetic message about the inspirations that were behind creating it.

“This is a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams,” she wrote within the message.
The collection of songs, Taylor’s first new music in almost two years, is described by her as “the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life”.
