Netflix Unveils Its Newest Turkish Series Starring Tuba Büyüküstün

Fans of Turkish series now have a new show to binge watch this weekend…
Another Self a drama series starring Tuba Büyüküstün, Seda Bakan, Boncuk Yılmaz, Murat Boz, Füsun Demirel, Fırat Tanış, Rıza Kocaoğlu and Serkan Altunorak has just been released across the streaming platform.
The series follows three college roommates – Ada, Sevgi, and Leyla – whose lives are changed forever when one of the friends, Sevgi, is diagnosed with cancer. After a fortuitous visit to Ayvalik and meetings with a man who does family constellation sessions (think holistic healing sessions), the three friends embark on a bit of a spiritual quest in finding themselves and working through past traumas.
Tuba, who was nominated for an Emmy for her perfomance in 20 Dakika, plays Ada, one of the show’s protagonists. She shared the show’s trailer on her Instagram, calling it a “journey to see, to think, to find our inner selves.” Another Self delivers a beautiful message about friendship, love and self-acceptance – it’s certainly a show you wouldn’t want to miss.
