The award-winning Egyptian actress is set to star in a new drama which will premiere next year
We may be in the thick of the summer heat, but we simply cannot wait until the end of February 2025 – when iftar gatherings, late-night snacking, and of course, the annual Ramadan drama marathon will be in full swing.

Ramadan 2025 Series: Hannah El-Zahed Will Star in New Show
Egyptian Actress, Hannah El-Zahed is set to star in the recently announced Ramadan series Al-Zawaj Sim Qatil (Marriage is a Deadly Poison). This drama is produced by Mohammed Al Saadi and directed by Yasmine Ahmed Kamel (who directed the Ramadan 2024 show A’la Nesbet Moshahda starring actress Salma Abu Deif which garnered public attention and loyal viewership across the region.) Yasmine and Salma have won several awards for their involvement in the show and for its rise in popularity.
Hannah is expected to step away from the comedy genre for the new, embracing her serious side for the drama. While few details have been disclosed on the upcoming show, we can confirm it is expected to run for a total of 30 episodes (the standard length of a Ramadan series) and the rest of the cast is currently being confirmed.
