Six Flags In Saudi: The Renowned Park Is Set To Open Next Year
The renowned Six Flags Amusement Park is poised to make its debut in Riyadh as early as October 2024, marking a significant milestone in the Qiddiya Entertainment project. This venture is noteworthy as Six Flags has not introduced a park outside North America since 2004. The ambitious initiative aligns seamlessly with the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, aiming to position Saudi Arabia among the world’s premier tourist destinations. Anchored in the pillars of Entertainment, Sports, and Culture, the recent addition of the Six Flags Park represents a pivotal step towards realising this visionary goal.


Six Flags in Saudi: Everything We Know
The completion of Phase One will include Six Flags Qiddiya, alongside five other meticulously curated themed parks, each offering an array of unparalleled rides and attractions. Steam Town, Twilight Gardens, Discovery Springs, City Thrills, Valley of Fortune, and Grand Exposition. Each land is a tribute to a significant facet of Arabian heritage, promising visitors thrilling entertainment rooted in a Saudi context.

Following the announcement, adrenaline-seeking-social media users have been incredibly excited for the announcement of the Falcon’s Flight ride, which is poised to become the world’s longest, tallest, and fastest coaster, surpassing the current record held by Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi.
The ride is projected to achieve a maximum speed of 250 km/hour, accompanied by a thrilling 195-metre drop and will feature 4 km of track. For comparison, Ferrari World’s Formula Rossa presently holds the record, accelerating from 0 to 240 km/hour in just 4.9 seconds and reaching a height of 52 metres. Falcon’s Flight is set to redefine the landscape of roller coaster excitement, promising an unparalleled and heart-pounding experience for thrill-seekers.
