The Gossip Girl Reboot Trailer Has Officially Dropped. Here’s How To Watch It…

Attention Upper East Siders, your favourite show is officially getting a HBO Max reboot and Bazaar has the scoop… xoxo Gossip Girl

The wait is finally over…

The Gossip Girl reboot is scheduled to premiere on July 8 and we can hardly wait! The 10 episode season will stream on HBO Max with a whole new cast and, of course, will have an intriguing plot that revolves around a new generation of Manhattan’s elite. 

“Eight years after the original website went dark, a new generation of New York private school teens are introduced to the social surveillance of Gossip Girl. The prestige series will address just how much social media—and the landscape of New York itself—has changed in the intervening years,” screenwriter Joshua Safran told The Hollywood Reporter.

But the bigger question we’re all wondering is if any of the original cast members will make a return?

While Kristen Bell will continue on as the voice and narrator of Gossip Girl, the creators of the reboot have refused to comment on whether or not Blake Lively, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick will be making a cameo. 

The exciting news is that HBO Max has released an array of graphic posters introducing the new faces that are set to star in the updated series. The latest adaptation of the hit 2000s series seem to reflect a highly diverse casting this time around, and fans couldn’t be happier.

What more? There’s apparently a big twist. “The ‘twist’ that apparently exists but is so super top secret that showrunner Josh Safran can’t even whisper it to me in confidence,” wrote Cosmopolitan’s Brian Moylan.

Enough said, we just can’t seem to wait to delve into another cycle of Upper East Sider’s drama…
