The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare: When Will It Premiere in The GCC?
The cast and crew were pictured for the New York premiere ahead of the film’s international release this week
Eiza González, Henry Cavill, and Henry Golding were just a few amongst the many big names that walked the red carpet for Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare premiere in New York on April 13.

Produced by award-winning Saudi producer Mohammed Al Turki and Jerry Bruckheimer, the film is based on previously classified files of World War II. The story provides a heavily dramatized recount of Operation Postmaster under Winston Churchill’s command. Following the story of a covert special operations team, the spy comedy action flick is set in the 1940s and features a misfit team of operatives fighting Nazis with unconventional and ungentlemanly techniques.
Known for his philanthropy and previous works like Arbitrage and 99 Homes, Mohammed has maintained a consistent role of representing the Middle East in Hollywood through his works.

The World War II inspired film also boasts of stars Babs Olusanmokun from Dune, rising actor Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Cary Elwes and Henrique Zaga as a part of the cast.

To extend support for a regional cinema talent, the production for The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare has also been supported through the Red Sea Financing Initiative.
Started by the Red Sea Film Festival in 2021, this fund intends to cultivate budding creative cinema potential for Arab and African films and push for their success on a regional and international scale.
