When is Beyoncé’s New Album Coming Out?

Speculated to be country-themed, Beyoncé announced the “Renaissance Part II” album in a Verizon Super Bowl advertisement

Beyoncé continues being the queen of dropping music in the most iconic way, after she just released two new songs, and announced a new album right in the middle of the Super Bowl on Sunday night.

The anticipated part two of Beyoncé’s Renaissance project was announced during an advertisement that player during the Super Bowl. “Okay, they ready. Drop the new music,” the singer is heard saying at the end of the video for US communications company Verizon.

Immediately following the advertisement, Beyoncé released two new songs titled Texas Hold ‘Em and 16 Carriages.

When is Beyoncé’s New Album Coming Out?

Out on March 29, the album is expected to tap into country music. We could speculate that her western style outfit at the 2024 Grammys was a clue about the album.

In the advertisement, Beyoncé attempts to overload Verizon’s capacity and break the internet by doing viral stunts. She opens up a lemonade stand (a nod to her 2016 album), drops a surprise (a reference to her 2013 self-titled album), and launches a Twitch stream, as well as BeyoncAI and BarBey. She also announces that she’s running for Beyoncé of the United States, and performs in space. The video ends with Beyoncé saying, “Okay, drop the music”.

Her co-actor in the video is American actor and comedian Tony Hale, keeping track of whether the internet has shut down in response.

Beyoncé was at the Super Bowl in Las Vegas alongside her husband, Jay-Z, and daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi.

The first instalment of Beyoncé’s Renaissance project was released in July 2022. Soon after, she revealed the album was the first of a three-act project. The album won her a record-breaking 32nd Grammy.

In 2023, she went on the Renaissance World Tour, her ninth concert tour.
