After preparing fans of the global K-Pop sensation for Jisoo’s solo debut with an announcement at the beginning of the year, YG Entertainment confirmed last month that the star was filming her hotly-anticipated solo debut music video in “a secret location overseas,” according to Bandwagon Asia.
The South Korean entertainment agency added, “We invested the highest production cost of all BLACKPINK videos to date,” giving BLINKs yet another reason to look forward to the exciting project.
Since releasing their two chart-topping albums – The Album (2020) and Born Pink (2022) – BLACKPINK’s members Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa have already made their solo debuts, making Jisoo the last member to follow suit with her album ME.
Where Is BLACKPINK Jisoo Filming Her Solo Music Video?
As YG Entertainment’s announcement leads us to wonder where Jisoo is filming her high-budget music video which is sure to be a massive hit, fans online are speculating that the “secret location” could be Paris as the BLACKPINK vocalist just released a recent vlog on her Instagram featuring her adventures in the city of love.
The Dior Global Ambassador also attended the brand’s recent Haute Couture show in Paris that took place last month.
However several fans, also known as BLINKs, took to Twitter to announce that Jisoo is filming her solo music video in Los Angeles. In a speculative thread on the social media platform, fans confirmed the location as dancers and other staff working on the project have reportedly disclosed their whereabouts.
Regardless of the location, what everyone wants to really know is when Jisoo’s solo music video will be out.

As fans are gearing up for Jisoo’s debut, a mysterious poster titled “COMING SOON” posted on the globally-renowned girl group’s Instagram profile teased fans with a release date of March 31, 2023, which the lead vocalist also shared on her own profile with the caption “See you soon ?♥️”
The Snowdrop actress shared the much-awaited cover art for her debut album ME last week which features the radiant beauty decked up in dreamy tones of red.
More recently, Jisoo shared yet another stunning visual from her coveted project in which she dons a white tulle mini dress from Aadnevik’s SS22 collection.
BLINKs are excitedly awaiting the release of the album after which the musician will join BLACKPINK on their Coachella headlining performances which will take place on April 15 and 22.
