After the massive success of HBO’s widely-watched television series Euphoria starring Zendaya, Sam Levinson is returning with yet another sensational drama, The Idol.

Set against the backdrop of the music industry, the story revolves around the complicated relationship between Jocelyn, a young and ambitious pop star played by Lily Rose-Depp, and leader, played by none other than The Weeknd, who is also co-creating the show.

Partnering with the Starboy singer this time, the Malcolm & Marie director has introduced a star-studded cast consisting of a myriad of entertainers such as acting debutante BLACKPINK‘s Jennie Kim and musician Troye Sivan, actors Rachel Sennott, Hari Nef, Suzanna Son, Dan Levy, and others.

With all the buzz surrounding the A24 production, especially since the release of an electrifying teaser trailer in October 2022, fans are wondering when the twisted love story can be binge-watched.

So, When is HBO’s The Idol Releasing?

According to HypeBae, the awaited series is premiering in June 2023. However, the release date hasn’t been confirmed yet.
