Ella Yelich-O’Connor, better known as Lorde, is working on a new album, and we couldn’t be more excited.
According to Ensemble Magazine, the artist has confirmed the news about all the details regarding the release and her life in the spotlight. The pop star admits she struggled a lot with constantly being on stage when she was touring for her first two albums. She mentions that she had to seek therapy to avoid always being completely drained after a show. However, Lorde says she has been much better since seeking counselling, and her tour Solar Power started to feel like fun.
Lorde has been in the public eye for over ten years, ever since her first single, Royals, became a huge success, making her one of the most well-known teenagers globally. The twenty-six-year-old has been on her Solar Power tour since April 2022, performing her third album, which released in 2021. The album has been incredibly popular among fans as it combined a charismatic mix of 60s psych and folk and early 2000s pop.
Now Lorde has admitted that she is currently working on a new album. The singer did not reveal its name yet so fans just call it L4 (standing for Lorde’s 4th album).

According to Ensemble Magazine, the singer states, that fans should not be expecting the album to drop in 2023, but that she is trying her best to get it done as quickly as possible.
