During Selena’s acceptance speech the star took the opportunity to explain her decision to quit her tour that year saying, “I had to stop, because I had everything, and I was absolutely broken inside,” she continued, “But if you are broken, you do not have to stay broken. And if that’s anything, whether you respect me or not, that’s one thing you need to know about me is that I care about people,”

Excitingly, the star took to Instagram to announce the release of her latest song, My Mind & Me which will be featured in the documentary. The song will be dropping on 3 November 2022 at 5 am PT/ 8 am ET/ noon GMT.
