Who is Eda Ece, The Star of Forbidden Apple?
After six seasons, one of the most beloved dizi series in the Arab world has come to an end. Last week fans said goodbye to Forbidden Apple (Yasak Elma) as they tuned in to watch the last episode. Like many shows with cult followings, it signified the end of an era. The series had been running since 2018, boasting hundreds of episodes starring an ace cast, which included Turkish actress Eda Ece in its cast.
While some fans may feel this signifies an end of sorts, for the 32-year-old actress this is just the beginning, the start of a new chapter. Eda will soon be getting married this summer and, likely, has many exciting projects in the pipeline. Known for her beauty, talent and care-free demeanor – reflected through her Instagram fee — there is little doubt that the star’s success will soon skyrocket.

Who is Eda Ece, The Star of Forbidden Apple?
She has a degree in Psychology.
The youngest of three daughters, Eda was born in Turkish metropolis and pursued high education at Istanbul Bilgi University, though she always had an interest in acting; as a child she landed minor roles in shows before finally getting her big break in youth series Pis Yedili and Beni Böyle Sev. In 2015 she stepped into the role of Elif Güvener on İlişki Durumu: Karışık (Full House), a Turkish remake of the popular Korean series and her first time acting in a romantic comedy. In the past few years, she’s best known for playing Yildiz Yilmaz in drama series Forbidden Apple.
Eda is engaged to Turkish basketball player, Buğrahan Tuncer.
Eda announced her engagement to Buğrahan a few weeks ago on Instagram, sharing sweet photos of their families celebrating the engagement. The 30-year-old point guard (who also plays shooting guard) is a member of the Turkish National Team and plays for Anadolu Efes S.K. The couple is rumoured to wed this summer, with sources reporting the bride has opted for a dress by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad.
