Previously the Director of Corporate Support for the establishment, Naeema Ahli will spearhead the DWE

The Crown Prince of Dubai has appointed Naeema Ahli as CEO of the Dubai Women Establishment (DWE). This recent announcement signals a renewed commitment to female empowerment in the city.

Naeema, formerly the Director of Corporate Support at DWE, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her new role.

Established in 2006 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and led by Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, DWE has been instrumental in encouraging women’s participation in the workforce and positions of power, as their website writes “The Establishment’s mission is to champion women in driving the socio-economic future of Dubai through influencing policies, sharing knowledge and leading initiatives.”

DWE’s strategic plan is built upon four core pillars, including policy shaping, research, partnership building, and skills development programs for Emirati women, which have all contributed significantly to Dubai’s journey towards gender equality.

Naeema’s appointment truly highlights DWE’s commitment to promoting excellence in leadership. Under her guidance, DWE will no doubt continue their mission of fostering the next generation of women leaders to excel in Dubai’s dynamic economy.
