The Escape | Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort

Thai luxury resort Anantara The Palm has unveiled a range of exclusive summer staycation packages for both rooms and private villas

On the secluded east crescent of the Palm Jumeirah, Anatara The Palm instantly transports visitors to Thailand’s coasts. Arranged around several lagoon pools, white Siam-style low-rise buildings feature red pagoda roofs and evoke the country’s beloved tranquil temples.

With true attention to detail, ornate carvings, figurine statues, lotus-flower water features and gardens full of exotic flowers complete the experience. Rickshaws and boats dot the property. It’s the perfect getaway that doesn’t require getting away at all.

Room designs are a contemporary take on traditional Thai interiors, with smart and simple dark-wood furnishings, natural wood floors and the odd swatch of colour against white linens.

All rooms overlook the resort’s lush landscaped gardens and the surrounding serene waters, with Lagoon Access rooms even offering direct access.

The resort also hosts a range of private villa options, including the Beach Pool Villas with private infinity pools and the Overwater Villas featuring a viewing deck and glass floor panes looking deep into the ocean. Larger families or groups of friends can share the Two Bedroom Beach Pool Villas.

In the resident staycation special, guests will receive complimentary breakfast and a 25 per cent discount at the hotel’s diverse selection of award-winning restaurants.

Fine dining restaurant Mekong boasts a careful curation of intricate Pan-Asian dishes and creates a sensory culinary journey.

Named after the river connecting Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, China and Myanmar, lattice wooden screens, painted murals and a series of water sculptures adorn the restaurant, with the Beijing Half-Roasted Duck as it’s signature dish.

The Lotus Lounge, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling sea view windows, offers small bites and refreshing mocktails. For a more relaxed daytime option, the lively urban Revo Café’s healthy menu provides artisanal coffee and vegan options.

Visitors will also be able to request private, customised dinners on the beach through the Dining by Design initiative.

The Resident Special Staycation packages are exclusively for UAE residents, with Premier Lagoon View rooms starting at at Dhs585.
