AXOR’s Citterio collection dazzles in Bvlgari hotels across Europe and Asia

Part of the Hansgrohe Group, AXOR produces luxurious bathroom items, developed in collaboration with world-renowned designers, including Antonio Citterio of ACPV Architects. Launched in 2000 and constantly expanding, AXOR Citterio has created faucets, showers and accessories that further boost the already stunning design spaces ACPV Architects builds – including Bvlgari hotels worldwide. The properties deliver the Roman powerhouse’s enduring appeal and rich history while honouring local cultures.
Bvlgari has added three new illustrious cities to its portfolio of international hotels over the last three years; Tokyo, Rome and Paris. The sumptuous chrome-finished AXOR Citterio collection in each of the bathrooms of these premises makes the Bvlgari hotel experience even more distinct, adding a touch of true magic. The Bvlgari Hotel Rome is located in a rationalist building by Vittorio Ballio Morpurgo, across from the ancient Mausoleum of Augustus and Ara Pacis monument. Within its meticulously forged suites, the bathrooms add a deluxe space featuring stones in varied textures, hand-laid mosaics and the AXOR Citterio collection in chrome. The fittings’ sleek forms beautifully pay homage to the Eternal City.
In Tokyo, within the Yaesu 2-Chome North District atop an ultra-skyscraper, the Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo offers panoramic views of Mount Fuji and the imperial palace gardens. As it did for its Roman brother, the AXOR Citterio collection marries simple, angular shapes with Italian stone and hinoki wood accents. Finally, bathrooms in Bvlgari Hotel Paris combine creamy marble and frosted glass wall lights with the contemporary-yet-classic chrome finish of AXOR Citterio in the showers, baths and washbasins.
