Gaggenau Galleria Arrives at Anantara Business Bay, Launching With a Powerful Celebration of Emirati Artistry

The luxury home appliances brand offered an immersion in regional heritage and modernity

Gaggenau, known for its performance-driven home kitchen appliances that draw inspiration from the requirements of professional chefs, has opened its doors at Anantara Business Bay. Established in 1683, the German brand prides itself on precision and a legacy of supreme craftsmanship spanning 300 years. Respecting both tradition and innovation in their approach, the cohesion between the latest advancements in technology and hand-finishing characterises their process and infuses their products with character.

Gaggenau Galleria launched with an exclusive event, a gathering that formed a celebration of culture, quality, and creativity. The occasion was a chance for the brand to pay tribute to regional culture and craftsmanship; a symbol of its unwavering commitment to design excellence and its deep-rooted appreciation of the UAE’s rich heritage.

Guests were invited to experience a fusion of heritage and modernity with a spotlight on pioneering Emirati women artists. Sand sculptures by Afra Al Suwaidi represented each of the seven Emirates while Asayel Abdulla’s plexiglass paintings portrayed Emirati Heritage and a collection of documented images by Salmah Al Mansoori explored the influence of the environment on identity.

The presentation of these works spoke of the brand’s commitment to the people and vision of the UAE. HE Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi was the guest of honour; she expressed her admiration for Gaggenau by revealing that she has been a customer of the brand for the last two decades and accentuated the value of presenting talented Emirati artists in such a context.

“The country’s success is owed to its visionaries, its artists, and its leaders,” said Tomas Alonso, CEO of BSH Middle East. “That’s what brings us here, to support these incredibly talented Emirati women artists and their unique creations that represent the promising future of Emirati culture.”

Gaggenau’s Galleria at Anantara, Business Bay, features a selection of the brand’s signature appliances, including automatic espresso machines, culinary warming drawers, bespoke workstations, and more.

Gaggenau also offers the option for home appliances to be digitally integrated and managed from afar with its remote Home Connect facility that forms a bridge between tradition and modernity.
