Jotun Launches New Paint Collection Inspired By Arab Culture

Paying homage to Arabian culture, Jotun’s new Exterior Colour Collection is inspired by the heritage and luxury of the Middle East region

First founded in 1926, Norwegian paint company Jotun has just revealed its brand new Exterior Colour Collection, paying homage to the Arab world. The collection comprises 17 colours inspired by the past, present and future of the region.

The colour scheme embraces the legacy and clutches the Arab world’s culture, embodying four main themes entitled Heritage, Nostalgia, Tomorrow and Somewhere. “The Exterior Colour Collection is inspired by our lands, our people, our food and our beautiful history,” says Rana Khadra, Colour and Creative Manager at Jotun Middle East, India and Africa. “It reflects the warmth and hospitality that play a very important role in the lives of every Arab and we at Jotun have been inspired by these pillars in the creation of our collection.”

The four themes of the collection all depict different meanings. Aptly titled, Nostalgia is a melange of shades inspired by emotion and the region’s most nostalgic places.

Heritage is an ode to Arabian tradition and all things that have stood the test of time. Tomorrow represents the future, bringing a fresh take on bold shades and Somewhere showcases the beauty of Arabian landscapes.

Travertine Soft Grey. Jotun.

“Inspired by the Arab World, for the Arab World,” adds Rana. “The palette is a proud expression of the personalities and lives of the region. It is based on warm, inspiring, earthy and welcoming hues that bring what is on the inside to the outdoors.”

The Exterior Colour Collection is now available in all Jotun stores across the region. jotun.com
