In Pictures: Harper’s Bazaar Arabia Junior and Mamas & Papas Celebrate Motherhood
An intimate breakfast and flower arranging workshop at Riviera by Jean Imbert in The Lana, hosted by Bazaar and Mamas & Papas, brought together mums and mums-to-be from around town
We all know mums are good at many things; staying organised and multitasking are two skills that come to mind, but taking time out for herself isn’t her forte — which is precisely why Harper’s Bazaar Arabia and Mamas & Papas decided to host an intimate breakfast, giving her a chance to unwind in the company of other formidable women who are known for putting their families first.
We were joined by gorgeous mums and mums to be, including Nadya Hasan, Basma Hamze, and Harper’s Bazaar Arabia Junior’s very own Editor in Chief (and new mum) Olivia Phillips, at Riviera by Jean Imbert in The Lana for a casual breakfast and flower arrangement workshop.

This delightful morning event was not just about the sumptuous spread, but also about celebrating motherhood in style.
The breakfast table was a sight to behold. Guests were treated to an exquisite array of pastries, fresh fruits, a cheese section, charcuterie, smoked trout, truffle scrambled eggs, avocado toast (dubbed “Jean’s favourite”), soft-boiled eggs with caviar, and chia pudding. It was a culinary feast that catered to every palate, setting the perfect tone for the cozy gathering.

Sophia Serin, our Acting Managing Editor, gave a heartfelt speech, highlighting the exceptional support Mamas & Papas offer to parents: “They really are experts when it comes to… everything,” she shared. Sophia’s words resonated with the guests as she recounted her personal experiences, “They held me during my pregnancy, birth, and post as well.” Her testimony was a touching reminder of the brands commitment to accompanying parents through every stage of their journey.

Adding a creative twist to the morning, guests participated in a flower workshop where they crafted their own beautiful bouquets. It was a delightful activity that brought a hint of springtime elegance to the event. Each guest left with a personalised floral arrangement, a lovely memento of a wonderful morning.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with conversations flowing as easily as the freshly brewed coffee. The intimate setting allowed everyone to connect and share their stories, making it more than just an event — it was a celebration of the beautiful journey of motherhood.

This collaboration between Harper’s Bazaar Arabia and Mamas & Papas highlighted the essence of community and support that both brands stand for. It was a morning filled with laughter, learning and — most importantly — a shared appreciation for the incredible role of mothers.
