Mercedes-Benz’s Latest State-Of-The-Art EQE Model Is A Vision Into The Future
A new era is dawning in automobile design and Mercedes-Benz is leading the way in shaping the landscape of this revolution
Mercedes-Benz is introducing, through their recently launched Showcasing Innovations campaign, the cutting-edge components of their new electric car models. And it is giving pride of place to its impressive new EQE model. A sleek automobile that exhibits Mercedes-Benz ingenuity when it comes to combining creativity and imagination with technological advances.
In a storytelling-like format, the Showcasing Innovations campaign video expertly weaves a narrative of how Mercedes-Benz has sought to make the electric car not only practical and safe, but also uber-stylish and, of course, state-of-the-art.

The scene is set in a garage – which is known as being the humble cradle of many disruptive innovations. There a woman, named Mercedes, takes viewers through a series of futuristic rooms. In each room, visitors are shown a different feature of the cutting-edge car.
The vehicle is equipped with MBUX technology, which is to say artificial intelligence that intuitively learns to react to a driver’s behaviour providing her with the right information at the right time. From navigation to optimal battery-life management for an adapted extended range, the new EQE Mercedes-Benz offers the best in safety, practicality, entertainment, and comfort. The company’s mission is to create a real bond between the car and its owner.

For example, the ultra-quiet engine combined with a 3D high-end speaker system with surround-sound acoustics come together to create a fully immersive driving experience. And features such as interior active ambient lighting, massage functions embedded into the seats, fragrance diffusion and ionisation of the air, elevate the car, and, in turn, reveal how Mercedes-Benz has positioned itself right at the intersection between design and technology.
The elegant one-bow design artfully renders the car masterfully aerodynamic. It has a seamless polished appearance with its arched roof and frameless back door. Everything about the refined design, down to the flush retractable door handles that present themselves as you approach, has been conceptualised to reduce the automobile’s air resistance, thus optimising the range of the car. In fact, the high-performance battery recharges by 70 per cent in just 32 minutes.

Moreover, the car is as intuitive as it is safe. The LED headlights illuminate bends, project guide markings, and the spotlight function detects obstacles. The cutting-edge safety components each attest to the quality that the world has come to expect from Mercedes-Benz manufacturing.
It’s a worthy and ambitious task to make the shift to electric cars enticing to consumers after a century of dependence on internal combustion engines. And as the demand for battery-powered vehicles increases daily Mercedes-Benz is taking a leadership role in building electric automobiles that are as elegant as they are innovative. A smart move considering that the International Energy Agency has reported that electric car sales went from accounting for just 4.1 per cent of global car sales in 2020 to 9 per cent in 2021 – more than a two-fold increase.

With this campaign, Mercedes-Benz underlines their commitment to building a greener future for the automobile industry. One where style and substance, as well as an energetic driving experience, will be even more enjoyable because it comes with the knowledge that its impact on the world is a force for good.
