Museum of The Future: An Unidentified Flying Vehicle Comes In For A Landing…

An out-of-this-world way to generate some buzz before the doors open to the public next week…

Just when you think you’ve seen it all…

With mere days away from the long-awaited opening of Dubai’s Museum of the Future, opening its doors on February 22nd, 2022, some truly attention-grabbing footage has hit the Internet. On Friday, Dubai Media Office released a video on social media, showing the upper segment of the museum building opening up to welcome what looks to be… a spaceship (?)

The clip quickly went viral, as other netizens shared videos online of the flying vehicle landing in the futuristic building.

According to The National The Museum of the Future measures 78m in height and has been named as one of the 14 most beautiful museums in the world by National Geographic magazine.

With seven floors, five of which house the main museum exhibitions, look like film sets from the future – perfectly aligned with the landing of the spaceship. Visitors will be treated to several futuristic experiences, including what it looks like to see the Moon from a space station 600 kilometers above Earth

Located near the Jumeirah Emirates Towers, the spectacular building is coated in Arabic calligraphy, honoring and reflecting upon the Arab’s world’s many contributions to all fields of life – from mathematics and history to science and research.

The museum is designed to give visitors a peek into what 2071 will look like, with a focus on virtual and augmented reality systems playing a key role. With Friday’s spectacular video, it’s safe to say that the museum is set to be the Emirates’ latest blockbuster attraction.

Tickets are available for purchase on the museum’s website. For more information, visit motf.ae
