The founder of The Flower Society collects handbags and contemporary art, and gets through her day with Lebanese coffee, Charlotte Tilbury touch-ups and cuddles with her kids (and canines)…
7:30 am
I sleep really well, but need eight hours a night. The first thing I do when I wake up is drink water and check my phone. I like to have a quiet morning, but sometimes I’ll listen to Fairuz. My bedroom is super tidy, and I use the best bed linen by Antoine Karam. I sleep in bamboo cotton pyjamas and also love Hanro’s sets.

8 am
I have my first coffee (I have up to three per day) and eat a breakfast of eggs and avocado whilst looking at emails and the news. Mornings are also family time, with my three kids and three amazing dogs. I’ll then do a Zoom training session three times a week with my PT, before jumping in the shower. My beauty routine consists of a Sisley Paris cleanse, Augustinus Bader eye cream and Guerlain neck cream, then I’ll apply Sisley SPF50. It takes 15 minutes. When it comes to make-up, I use Shiseido foundation, Charlotte Tilbury Unreal Lips Healthy Glow Nectar Oil and Under Eyes Magic Vanish for touch-ups during the day. Dadi Oilis essential for my nails in the summer. I had an incredible Salmon DNA facial mixed with exosomes at Frame by Sarah Battikha in Dubai – I had baby skin afterwards! I blow-dry my hair at home every other day and go to Laloge for my mani/pedis.

8:30 am
I always know what I want to wear and I like to choose my jewellery first – always my Richard Mille watch. My style is mostly timeless and classic – I rarely fall for trends. I’m inspired by simple minimalism and love brands like Saint Laurent, Schiaparelli, Loewe and Hermès. A typical outfit might be Alaïa trousers with a simple shirt, or a Dior day dress. I love suits in winter – especially from Kayat. I have a well- The Rich Eye Cream, Dhs790, Augustinus Bader at Bloomingdale’s | Dress, Dhs9,365, Elie Saab | Bed linen, POA, Antoine Karam | Unreal Lips Healthy Glow Nectar Oil, Dhs145, Charlotte Tilbury | Pyjamas, Dhs680, Hanro curated bag collection of over 80 pieces, but my most cherished item is a little black dress my mum wore 50 years ago.

9 am
On the way to the office I’ll check emails or read the Financial Times, WWD and Business of Fashion. I also follow regional news to make sure my family is safe in Lebanon. Once in, I’ll make a cinnamon tea and chat to the team about upcoming events, discuss moodboards, logistics and strategy. The office is a floral atelier, so it’s a happy place filled with beautiful fl oral designs, as well as candles, music and art pieces. I collect Russian icons from the 18th century, and I love contemporary art too – artist Marwan Sahmarani is my favourite. I’m very focused so that we can get results fast and not waste any time. As a boss, I’m very strict, but friendly too. 1pm Twice a week, we’ll have a team lunch and order Lebanese food, or I’ll catch-up with friends at LPM, Gaia or Kokoro. I eat gluten-free and try to be as healthy as possible, but my weakness is French fries and potatoes in all forms!

3 pm
As I finish my work I might have another Lebanese coffee. I travel twice a month – often to Paris and Lebanon, as we’ve just opened a brand of The Flower Society in Downtown Beirut. My favourite recent trip was to Osaka for the Expo. I love everything about my job – apart from the finance, but I’ve learned to master it now. 5pm I make sure I’m home for when my kids are back from school. We’ll take the dogs for a walk together, then I’ll catch-up on emails once they’re all asleep.

8 pm
During peak season, I’ll have three events a week. I like to dress up in Hussein Bazaza or Elie Saab. If I’m not going out, I love to stay home and have my closest friends over – I’m a very sociable person and I like to be around people. In the summer I throw big parties, in the winter it’s smaller gatherings.

11 pm
I’ll shower, do my beauty routine, flick through a few books on fl oral design, then check my messages one last time before lights out – my eight hours sleep are a non-negotiable!
