Iris Apfel Celebrates Her 100th Birthday
The fashion icon, businesswoman, and industry legend shared a sweet Instagram post with her followers
A lot can happen in a century and few people within the fashion industry are able to witness the evolution of style the way Iris Apfel has – and today officially marks her 100th journey around the sun, as the industry legend celebrates the centennial her birthday.
“It’s not every day that you get to turn 100… May the celebrations commence!” Iris notes within the comments of an Instagram post she shared with her followers.
And we couldn’t agree more with her; it’s not every day you get to see an icon in the fashion industry proving that style and elegance have no age limit.
Iris counted down to her milestone birthday where she posted an adorable picture of herself surrounded by bright red and blue decor (not to miss the Mickey Mouse plush toy in the background); the post included balloons with 99 as she highlighted her last few days of being in the “double-digits.”
