She made the announcement online with a photo of her growing baby bump and first daughter Leila
Jennifer Gates just revealed exciting news on Instagram as she and her husband Nayel Nassar are expecting their second child.
The daughter of Microsoft founder, Bill Gates, took to the social media platform on Thursday to announce that their family is growing.
“Leila, being promoted to big sister,” the caption of the post read, with a photo of her holding her baby bump with her one-year-old daughter.

The comment section was quickly filled with congratulatory messages for her and Nayel. Among them were her mother, Melinda French Gates, who wrote: “I couldn’t be more excited for you, Nayel, and Leila! Love you.”
When is Jennifer Gates Due?
The 28-year-old has not revealed how far along she is yet.
As most women don’t reveal that they’re pregnant until after the first trimester is over, it’s likely that Jennifer is at least three to four months along, meaning the baby could possibly arrive any time between November 2024 and December 2024. However, with the couple’s confirmation the precise due date could be anyone’s guess.
Jennifer married Nayel in October 2021, who is an Egyptian-American professional equestrian who grew up in Kuwait. The couple were engaged in January 2020 and tied the knot in a private ceremony in a private Muslim ceremony at their farm in Westchester County, New York.

Who is Nayel Nassar, Jennifer Gates’ Husband?
He has represented Egypt in numerous international competitions, including the World Equestrian Games and the Pan American Games.
The pair met while studying at Stanford University and have been together since 2017. The two tied the knot in a beautiful private ceremony at her family’s farm in North Salem, New York. The couple exchanged their vows in an outdoor setting surrounded by their loved ones. Jennifere wore a stunning custom Vera Wang gown, while the groom wore a classic black tuxedo.
The wedding celebrations were a blend of Egyptian and Western traditions, with Egyptian music playing during the reception and a belly dancer performance. The couple’s love for horses was also reflected in the wedding, with guests being treated to a show jumping exhibition.
