Jason revealed in the new reason of Selling Sunset that he and Marie-Lou met while on vacation in Mykonos. Apparently, he caught her eye at Scorpios and the rest is history.

She’s German and South African.
In a TikTok video, Marie-Lou Nürk reveals her grandfather moved from Germany to South Africa when he was 19, where it seems like he met Marie-Lou’s grandmother. As Apartheid wouldn’t allow them to be together, the pair had to flee to another country (Swaziland); it seems they eventually returned to South Africa as the model reveals her mother grew up there – and kept a crocodile and monkey as pets.

She could have been an artist…
Growing up Marie-Lou revealed that her teachers wanted her to study arts, as she was very good at drawing and painting; instead, the model earned a degree in economics before pursuing modeling full-time.
She’s moved over 20 times.
After graduating she began modeling full-time and completed a few internships – which led her to live in Portugal, Berlin, and Frankfurt amongst other cities; she’s currently based between Paris and Los Angeles (but seems to be spending more time stateside) according to her Instagram.
She’s signed with Marilyn Agency.
Marie-Lou is on the books of one of the most reputable agencies in the fashion industry: Marilyn Agency. Established by Marilyn Gauthier in 1985, the agency has represented the likes of Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Claudia Schiffer, and Missy Rayder.

Are Marie-Lou and Jason Oppenheim married?
Nope – but there’s a good reason why many fans suspected they had spontaneously tied the knot. A few days ago Jason shares a very sweet Instagram post of the pair, all smiles, with Marie-Lou wearing a white dress. While no ring was visible – nor no hint of a proposal – netizens immediately jumped to the conclusion that the pair had either become engaged or eloped. Jason was quick to clarify the images were not engagement or wedding photos.
“Clearly these photos are confusing people,” he wrote in a comment on the caption. “Sorry about that. We did not get married. These are from an event that we went to together a few weeks ago.”
