Who Are The Saudi Athletes Competing in the Paris 2024 Paralympics?
From dressage to weightlifting, KSA is sending nine athletes to the games this summer…
The Paris 2024 Olympic games wrapped up just a few weeks ago, making way for the Summer Paralympics to officially begin. Founded in 1960 as the The Stoke Mandeville Games in Rome, the muilti-day international sporting event is for athletes with disabilities and takes place in the same city as the Olympics – meaning this year regional Paralympic competitors will be competing in the French capital.
Saudi Arabia will be sending nine athletes to the games, competing across a number of different events in athletics, weightlifting, taekwondo, table tennis, and dressage. HRH Princess Reema bint Bandar Al-Saud, KSA’s ambassador to the United States, shared a touching Instagram post in support of Saudi’s competitors.
