What an honour it was to dress the only Arab woman at the Golden Globes last month. When I think about Raya Abirached’s fashion personality, three words come to mind – femininity, elegance and class. When translating these characteristics into a statement look, black is always a smart bet. Raya wanted to wear something timeless on the red carpet so we opted for an off-the-shoulder bodycon dress from Zuhair Murad’s resort 2023 collection. The curvy, ink-black dress was given added intrigue thanks to the coloured stone embellishments that were perfectly placed on the bodice to highlight the dress’ striking neckline and Raya’s natural beauty. This was also complemented by minimal Bvlgari Serpenti diamond earrings and matching ring. To keep the focus on the dress the look was finished off with a wet, sleek hairstyle, natural make-up and a strong burgundy lipstick.
