George Clooney Introduced Himself As “Amal Clooney’s Husband” At An Event This Weekend
The actor gave his wife a sweet shout out
When George and Amal Clooney aren’t vacationing in Lake Como or attending royal weddings, they’re busy making everyone jealous of their relationship. Case in point: At an event in Los Angeles over the weekend, George gave a sweet shoutout to his wife and got a huge round of applause.
George was tapped to introduce activist Emma González at Variety’s Power of Women: Los Angeles event, and when he got onstage he introduced himself by saying, “Hi, I’m George. I’m Amal Clooney’s husband.”
After plenty of clapping and laughter, he continued with: “Oh I know, I know. I can read this room.”

Amal wasn’t at the event (according to Entertainment Tonight she was busy giving a keynote speech in Philadelphia), so it’s clear that George was thinking about his wife and wanted to give recognition to all the human rights work she does.
