Qatar Airways has partnered with two of the largest luxury houses in the world to create the airport lounge of any traveling fashionista’s dreams; the business class lounge, located in Hamad International Airport (HIA), has joined forces with Louis Vuitton and Dior to create an elevated experience quite like no other.
Known as the Al Mourjan Lounge at The Garden, it will include a Dior spa as well as a Louis Vuitton Cafe with the Deepika Padukone being named the new Global Ambassador.
HIA has already been named the best airport in the world by Skytrax in 2021 and has increasingly become one of the most desired layover destinations. With many travelers going out of their way to be able to experience this level of luxury even for a couple of hours.
The Al Mourjan Lounge is located directly above the Louis Vuitton store and will offer business and first-class Qatar Airway travelers anything and everything they could desire for their comfort. From food to shopping to massages, the list goes on. The amount of detail that has gone into this lounge has exceeded all of those that came before.
According to Business of Fashion, even the furnishings are intricately chosen to include pieces by international designers such as Martin Eisler and India Madhavi.
It doesn’t stop there! The food served at the restaurant, has a menu created by none other than three-star michelin chef, Yannick Alleno, and is created to embody the Qatari local cuisine, with local ingredients.
