Prepare for fresh interpretations of historic beauty in these new surface collections
As one of the largest ceramic brands in the world, UAE-based RAK Ceramics channels the spirit of innovation and versatility with every launch. Most recently the powerhouse has unveiled its latest surface proposal, introduced in Italy last month. From ancient Italian architecture to rivers and the sea, the inspirations are endless. Here’s what to expect…
B-MATERIA
B-MATERIA is a smooth marriage of stone and marble. A brand-new design concept that blends into both traditional and modern environments, it comes in two complementary colours. Two different surfaces merged into one tile; the timeless beauty of marble and the charm of stone.

DARK INK
Venice, one of Italy’s wonders, is known for transforming the simplest objects, like glass, into an objet d’art. Even on the Venetian floor, the talented artisans were able to transform Dark Ink into a stunning marvel.

In this surface, the spontaneous patterns of the terrazzo granules find harmony in the colours of black and white, resulting in a modern reinterpretation of Venetian battuto flooring. The mosaic and black brick in matt finish inject elegance into the collection.
SEAWOOD
Inspired by the logs that are carried by rivers and the sea, and are recovered on beaches partially consumed by salt, wind, sun, and water, Seawood’s unique appearance lends itself to being used for an elegant and modern parquet. The central trunk boasts rare colour combinations and aesthetic features.

TIBUR FROM BAALBEK
This new collection embraces the history of Italian architecture from Rome to Baalbek, Lebanon, famous for its monumental Roman temple ruins. The range beautifully showcases the return of a classic natural stone like travertine, reinterpreted in a contemporary way, and three different graphics are combined by colour and surface characteristics.
Warm, Mediterranean tones, from ivory to beige and grey, express purity and match each other harmoniously.

MIMESIS
The meaning of the word itself, reproduction, gives rise to a new concept where hues and materials are perfectly imitate, oxidised metal slabs.

Warm tones in light and dark shades comprise the collection, enriched by a mix of surface colours to accurately reproduce the rust effect, a nod to absolute realism. An industrial-chic style that brings freshness to any environment.
