Unfortunately, elephants cannot exist out in the wild due to Dubai’s hot and humid climate. These large mammals typically live in tropical parts of the world, such as Africa and South Asia. where rainfall is prevalent and vegetation is thick.
It is likely that Sheikh Hamdan visited the Dubai Safari Park, an animal sanctuary located in Al Warqa, that provides education and raises awareness on wildlife conservation. In addition to elephants, the safari houses deers, cheetahs, tigers and many more.
