Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan Opens Dialogue On Education With His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Aziz bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia

Education and strengthening regional relations are at the top of the agenda for Her Majesty

HM Queen Rania Al Abdullah, wife of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has been internationally recognised and celebrated for her advocacy to bettering Jordan’s domestic and foreign affairs. Her Majesty is a source of inspiration with initiatives that have a strong focus on improving education, health, environment and cross-cultural dialogue.

On May 17, Her Majesty welcomed His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Aziz bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia to Amman, in his role as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Open University (AOU) and President of the Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND).

The Royals discussed matters surrounding common interest and strengthening cooperation between the two nations. His Royal Highness shared an image from their meeting and with a caption thanking Her Majesty, “I thank Her Majesty for her continued support & 20 years outstanding development initiatives with @agfundprogram.”

The meeting was also attended by AOU President Professor Mohammad Al-Zakari and AGFUND Executive Director Nasser Alkahtani.
