Her Higness Ahad bint Abdullah, donned a traditional black sahar to celebrate the occasion
January 11, 2024, marks the third year that HRM Sultan Haitham bin Tarik came into power, succeeding as the head of state of the Sultanate of Oman.
The First Lady of Oman, Her Highness Sayyida Ahad bint Abdullah bin Hamad Al Busaidiyah, donned a traditional black Sahar to celebrate the occasion. The bodice and sleeves of the Sahar were adorned with exquisite gold embroidery in a geometric pattern.
Her Highness paired this outfit with a black shayla and heavy gold earrings and bangles, highlighting the richness of Omani heritage and culture.
Her Highness is no stranger to dressing the part of elegant royal.
Her most memorable ensemble, a spectacular pink silk dress with dark green sequined detailing around the neck and the wrists paired with a purple tulle sheila, was designed by Amal Al Raisi, an Omani designer.
