The First Lady of Oman, Her Highness Sayyida Ahad bint Abdullah bin Hamad Al Busaidiyah, and wife of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, head of state of the Sultanate of Oman, visited Egypt, the news was reported on May 9.
The Omani royal was received by Egypt’s President Abdelfattah Elsisi’s spouse, Entissar Amer.
Her Highness and the First Lady visited the new Grand Egyptian Museum and Children’s Cancer Hospital.
Entissar Amer also held a dinner banquet in honour of Her Highness’s arrival at Qubba Palace.
Always a vision of grace and elegance, Her Highness Sayyida Ahad sported a deep purple abaya as she arrived and changed into a violet ensemble for the evening’s festivities.
The First Lady of Egypt looked elegant in an electric blue outfit during the day and adorned an emerald green dress for the dinner.
According to the royal family of Oman’s Twitter account, the meeting was held to reflect on the friendly relations between the two countries and their people.
