HH Sheikha Mahra At The Rashid Centre For People Of Determination: Bazaar Arabia shares everything we know about the Dubai Royal’s visit…
Her Highness Sheikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the daughter of Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, took to Instagram last night to share a video of her visit to the Rashid Center for People of Determination located in Dubai’s Al Barsha district.
In the video, HH Sheikha Mahra was seen interacting with the CEO of the Rashid Centre Mariam Othman who gave her a tour of the space. The Dubai Royal visited the Heritage Room, Cookery Lab, Art Room and Music Room, and engaged in a bunch of activities, including playing instruments, painting and eating dishes made by the children.
The day ended with a special Emirati song and dance performance by the children presented for HH Sheikha Mahra.
HH Sheikha Mahra donated a large number of toys to the institution, while The Rashid Centre showed their appreciation for the Royal with a package filled with beautiful flowers, decorations and a framed picture.
Established in 1994, the Rashid Centre provides specialized education, therapy and social engagement services for children with special needs. The Centre often welcomes high-profile guests and visitors, including Egyptian film producer Hisham Soliman and Kuwaiti-Palestinian actor Rawan bin Hussain.
